The SIR Analyzer was developed to fill the market need for a moderately priced fiber optic based infrared analyzer. This system is highly versatile, allowing it to be easily configured for a variety of spectral ranges and optical resolutions. The SIR Analyzer uses a single point detector and a high angular resolution tunable grating. This combination along with a 24 bit Analog to Digital Converter provides high spectral resolution and high signal to noise data. The SIR Analyzer can be software configured to deliver data over the entire spectral range or provide real time data at a specific wavelength.

The SIR Analyzer is designed with a rugged aluminum housing which is robust enough to withstand the rigors of chemical processing applications. Data interface can be accomplished through the analyzer's USB or a serial interface. On board data processing can be accomplished with a powerful microprocessor. Synchronization with external components and light sources is accomplished through a 14 pin digital interface.

The analyzer comes in three standard configurations. A 1-3.2um system with an InAs detector (Indium Arsenide) with a 200um slit, A 3-5um version with an MCT (Mercury Cadmium Telluride) or a 9-12um system with an MCT detector.
