Imaging & Sensing

Multispectral and hyperspectral imaging are similar but distinct imaging practices used for multiple purposes. Both processes have many common educational, commercial and government applications. If you use these methods as part of your organization’s processes, we have you covered.

Spectrecology is your home for the equipment you need at an affordable cost. We also have the industry expertise necessary to help you determine the best investment for your organization.

Advanced Imaging and Sensing Devices

Spectrecology is a leading supplier of modular spectral measurement solutions. We have an extensive selection of imaging and sensing devices to select from, including equipment designed for multispectral and hyperspectral measurements. Options include devices for sale and rent, providing convenient and cost-effective solutions suitable for projects of any size and duration.

Multispectral Imaging

Center to every multispectral device is an array of pixel-level spectral filters that must be purpose-built for each application. This imaging practice typically displays three to 10 bands in broad representation, with capabilities and features that vary by the device. We have multiple turnkey options to select from, including instruments from the industry’s top names, such as SpectroCam™and PixelCam.

Some of the most common applications for our multispectral imaging equipment for sale include aerial mapping, remote sensing, product screening, biomedical imaging and water quality measurement. Browse the full selection and select any product to learn more:

Hyperspectral Imaging

We carry the Culbert ULTRIS — an award-winning highresolution hyperspectral camera that uses light field technology. This product has an extensive wavelength range of 350 to 1000 nm, 164 spectral channels and the highest resolution of any product in its class.

The ULTRIS is lightweight and available in three different housings to match your durability requirements. These include a standard camera housing, an industrial-strength housing and a housing rated for up to 10 hours of continuous underwater use at depths up to 30 feet.
