Neofox couples to your PC through a USB cable, or it can operate stand alone by using the analog or digital outputs. NEOFOX-SPORT is a portable version, complete with battery, SD card slot, and display with control buttons.

The back story…   Our oxygen sensing adventure started 20 years ago when we stumbled on a fiber optic O2 sensor based on fluorescence quenching being developed by a materials scientist, Dr. Mahmoud Shahriari. We coupled his sensor to our S1000 miniature spectrometer and… it worked! Measuring the intensity of the fluorescence had its problems, so we switched to an expensive phase fluorometer approach. The Neofox was developed to decrease the size, lower the cost, and to fit into our JAZ line of portable modular detectors. Now, with the perfection of our ZERO-DRIFT sensor chemistries, we feel we have the most accurate, stable and affordable system offered anywhere.

Review Best general purpose probe, longer fluorescence decay yields more resolution, zero drift means stable calibrations Used for organic solvents and gases with organic vapors.  This sensor does respond to water vapor as well as O2 General purpose but with faster response rate than AP chemistry.   Applications

Optical O2 sensors can be used in any sample, gas or fluid, that is compatible with the sensor chemistry. AP chemistry is general purpose for gases and water based liquids. HCR is designed to work in hydrocarbons.  Temperature affects the reading, so you need to measure and correct, or control the temperature.
